Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:

Manages and directs all Marketing Functions andprovides specialized support to the Sales & Marketing Department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manages design, content, and images of marketing collateral (or with outside marketing entities as needed). 
  2. Manages creation and distribution of marketing related e-mail & regular mail to prospects, customers, sales representatives, and direct sales & management, as needed.
  3. Manage a “library” of Sales/Mktg documents to improve speed of access and enable better utilization of existing information. 
  4. Directs web development initiatives based on evolving best practices. 
  5. Manages all activities relating to the website, including, microsites, blog site, linking strategies, SEO best practices, HTML/CSS coding changes, updates, and coordinating larger projects with 3rd party web development team.
  6. Initiates and implements new marketing programs in relation to CWM values, ethics, and mission statement.
  7. Manages sales & marketing contact databases. 
  8. Provides short- and long-term marketing goals based off of: previous year performance results/analysis, commentary, information and recommendations, to be included in the Marketing Plan.
  9. Directs marketing research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  10. Implements marketing directives, as stated in the Marketing Plan.
  11. Manages CWM’s Social Media marketing.  Makes regular posts.
  12. Generates leads through select website and social media tools

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Continually improves RFQ process and workflow (i.e. improved web forms, reports, data storage, retrieval techniques)
  2. Provides various reports such as the RFQ Status and Quote History Reports.
  3. Updates sales representation manual.
  4. Monitors, reviews, and reports on all marketing activity and results (key performance metrics).
  5. Executes items within marketing plan in conjunction with additional projects given. 
  6. Takes photography and video and creates media for website, social media and PR outlets.  Graphic art and video clip creation.  Manages database of digital photo and video files.
  7. Creates specialized forms and develops specialized reports as needed.
  8. Offers training and collaboration on special projects with other departments, as needed. 
  9. Completes additional projects and taking on additional responsibilities, as needed.
  10. Sends out nurturing e-mails to leads from several different sources, as needed.
  11. Organizes and facilitates webinars (and other online events).
  12. Prepares and updates PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  13. Manages and interprets PPC campaigns.  Independently makes decisions on direction of campaigns, based on performance.
  14. Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards.
  15. Collaborates with other team members to organize and develop customer relations programs
  16. Creates, manages, and distributes surveys, as well as documenting results in a formal report/presentation and analysis.
  17. Maintains and expands knowledge by attending online and/or on-site training sessions, as it pertains to the position.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
  2. Proven success in directing marketing, advertising, and promotion initiatives and programs. 
  3. Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
  4. Fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, video and graphics software.
  5. Previous working experience with Website CMS platforms.
  6. Proven success with the implementation of SEO/SEM and PPC strategies.
  7. Demonstrated ability to learn new software skills.
  8. Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, or marketing-related major.  Some post-graduate coursework preferred.
  9. Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS code required.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time. 
  11. Understands safety policies, quality policy and environmental policies.
