QA Mechanical Inspector
Position Summary:
Responsible for product verification of die cast parts, and related products, to customer specifications and their detailed requirements. Performs set-up approval inspection in various manufacturing areas, and approval inspection of incoming processed piece-parts to verify compliance. Monitors plant production processes and identifies the need for quality assurance support. Understands and performs statistical process control charting & data evaluation. Capable of using inspection gages & measuring equipment. Work to be performed on CWM's 2nd shift: 2pm to 10pm.
Further Qualifications:
High school education with additional training or experience in quality assurance, science or engineering disciplines. Knowledgeable in reading engineering drawings and understanding geometric dimensional tolerancing. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Experienced in the use and care of inspection equipment and in visual and measurement inspection of manufactured products (preferably produced by the die casting process)..

Quality Engineer
Position Summary:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining dimensional product appraisal activities for die cast, die trim, machining, subcontracting and related in-process and final inspection functions during custom die casting planning, production and finishing operations. Makes quality related decisions to effectively communicate product conformance information to appropriate departments.
Further Qualifications:
Engineering (or Quality Engineering) Degree or Associate Degree or three years of formal training in mechanical engineering, scientific methods and problem solving skills. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and must know and understand advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Must have very strong verbal and written communication skills.

Die Caster
Position Summary:
Capable of effectively setting up and operating all die cast tools in one or more given alloy departments. The quality and production rate of product produced must be consistent with previous established results. Monitors, records and adjusts tooling and metal temperatures and machine variables, i.e. hydraulic and air pressures, shot speeds and lengths, spray volume and concentration. Capable of runnning multiple machines while still producing quality product from complex or difficult jobs. Completes in process documents and attempts to resolve non-conformances and problems related to the die casting process.
Further Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of high school or three years of vocational training or equivalent experience. Verbal and written skills, and good interpersonal skills.

Die Repair Person
Position Summary:
Responsible for die cast dies and trim die repairs, changeovers, and upgrades. Requires performing set-up and operation of all tool room equipment and use of precision measuring tools, as well as hand and power tools. Capable of troubleshooting problems related to tooling. May assist co-workers in all areas pertaining to die repair functions.
Further Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of high school or three years of vocational training or equivalent experience. Verbal and written skills, and good interpersonal skills.

Traffic Administrative Support
Position Summary:
Responsible for entering the data for packing slips and receipts into the computer system on a daily basis. Generates various reports. With some supervision, oversees the general day-to-day activities inside the shipping office.
Further Qualifications:
High school diploma required. Minimum 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, and/or customer service field. Computer literate and able to type 40+ words/minute. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
