Growth of the CWM Contract Manufacturing Division
From simple subassemblies, requests by Chicago White Metal customers moved the company to more comprehensive programs, incorporating custom parts produced in processes other than die casting, as well as all stock component procurement with single-source responsibility. The CWM-CM division's assembly cells are now housed in a 16,000 sq. ft. air conditioned facility.
Custom production includes mechanical part prototyping of all parts, tooling design and construction, volume processing, and any required post-production machining and part surface finishing. A comprehensive enclosure project would include the final assembly of all custom and procured stock parts, with housing shipment in customer packaging if required.
